Confiscation of assets of those who support Russia to begin in Ukraine in late summer

Ukraine will start mass confiscation of property and assets from citizens who support Russia’s actions in Ukraine as early as the end of summer, said the head of the Ministry of Justice, Denis Malyuska.

According to the Ukrainian Justice Ministry, new decisions on sanctions by the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) are needed before full-scale confiscation can begin.

Earlier, Denys Maliuska said that the assets and property of those politicians, officials or businessmen suspected of collaborationism will be confiscated with the help of the NSDC and the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.
