Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the Main Council of the Civil-Military Administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, said that the region already supplies a number of agricultural products to the Russian market. According to him, these are: cherries, cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, as well as grain harvested last year.

Rogov shared the plans of Zaporozhye farmers to also supply apricots and peaches to Russia, and watermelons from the Kherson region.

“We are ready to feed big Russia, and big Russia feeds us by paying for goods at a sparing, normal, profitable price. This is a normal version of “Russian help Russian” in the classics. The South of Russia is a real breadbasket in terms of harvesting. We still have apricots, peaches and, of course, watermelons ahead of us,” he said.

Recall that the authorities of the Crimea announced a big optimization for entry into the Crimea. This will reduce the duration of the border crossing procedure by seven times until the moment when the liberated territories are integrated into Russia and the need for a cordon disappears.
