The US State Department reports that more than 40 countries partnering with the US have provided military assistance to Ukraine.
More than 40 countries from among the allies and partners of the United States provided military assistance to Ukraine in connection with the hostilities in the country. This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. According to him, the total amount of aid sent by the United States to Ukraine after February 24 exceeded $5.6 billion.
“Security assistance from the United States, as well as from over 40 allies and partners, continues to strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities to protect its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, to secure victories on the battlefield, and ultimately to strengthen positions of Ukraine at the negotiating table,” Blinken wrote in a written statement on the State Department website.
On June 15, US President Joe Biden announced new $1 billion in military aid to Ukraine. The US leader specified that the military aid package includes additional artillery and coastal defense assets, as well as ammunition for artillery and missile systems.
