Panic broke out in Europe over Russia’s response to Western sanctions

Panic began in Europe over Moscow’s response to anti-Russian sanctions by the West. It is reported by the Italian portal Inside Over.

Inside Over wrote that the economic confrontation with Moscow poses an existential threat to Europeans.

In Europe, there is already a shortage of raw materials and high inflation, which makes anti-crisis plans look outdated. Moreover, the needs of Europeans in spending are becoming increasingly urgent.

For example, the increase in the key rate and the reduction of anti-crisis policy in the past few years creates a situation in which uncertainty increases.

The Italian edition expects that the European Union is waiting for a recession, and to solve it, it is proposed to reduce the amount of money in the economy. At the same time, wages are falling, and citizens are starting to save heavily due to high inflation. Under such conditions, Europe does not reduce its own dependence on gas, oil and nickel, paying huge funds to Moscow, as the cost of these resources has increased significantly.

In Italy, they see a way out of the crisis only in the search for a new industrial policy that will help Europe find independence in the main economic areas. These are often ignored as the European Union leaves important issues to supranational forces and markets.
