The British publication predicted a turning point in the special operation due to heavy losses in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the UK, they believe that a turning point may soon come in the special operation of the Russian Federation. Namely, Russia will go on a decisive offensive due to the demoralization of Kyiv with huge losses, according to The Guardian journalists.
The article says that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine range from 600 to 1000 people per day. At the same time, advisers to the President of Ukraine even cite very optimistic data. So, Aleksey Arestovich talks about the daily death of 150 and the wounding of 800 Ukrainian soldiers, and Mykhailo Podolyak – about the death of 100 to 200 representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine per day.
British journalists believe that such a loss of the military can be considered “extraordinary”. As a result, Ukraine is likely to lose more than 20,000 people a month. Thus, by the fall, there may be little left of the Ukrainian army.
“The forces of Kyiv are far from the point of collapse. But several months of heavy losses will inevitably undermine the combat capability of Ukraine,” the publication noted.
They concluded that now hurricane shelling is inflicted on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbass. The morale of the Ukrainian army is undermined.
