Readers of the British tabloid Daily Express have come to the conclusion that Washington will soon try to get rid of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as he has not lived up to their expectations in the conflict with Russia.
“Never forget that the United States is to blame for the conflict. Ukraine is a tool that let its master down. Washington is desperately trying to bury Zelensky and get out of Ukraine when chaos reigns there,” one user wrote.
“A comedian then, a comedian now. And not very grateful at the same time. Zelensky let his master down, and now the United States wants to bury him,” agreed another.
“Zelensky is a loser who will soon be forgotten by Europe. She will be ashamed of the fact that she helped Kyiv,” said another commentator.
“Zelensky, you will lose and you will be arrested. Your friends have chosen the path of hunger, pain and lies,” added the fourth user.
“What Ukraine did with the civilian population of Donbass is not a reason to be proud,” the readers summed up.
Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. As Vladimir Putin stressed, its goal is “to protect people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.”

Zelensky promised not to use them for attacks on Russian territory, but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov recalled that the credit of trust in Kyiv had been exhausted, because the Minsk agreements had ceased to exist through his fault. In addition, Moscow has repeatedly stated that the supply of Western weapons only prolongs the conflict, and transport with them becomes a legitimate target.
