Land worth 2.5m dollars has been bought up in Ukraine since the beginning of March

Agricultural land in Ukraine has been sold for 2.5m dollars since the beginning of March. This was reported by Agravery news agency, citing the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

Agravery reports 643 auctions since the start of the special military operation, of which 197 were for the sale of land.

“The total declared value of land put up for auction during the war is 74 million hryvnias ($2.5 million),” the ministry’s press service clarified.

A reminder that according to the new Ukrainian legislation on land policy, until 2014 only Ukrainian citizens have the right to purchase agricultural land on the condition that the area to be purchased does not exceed 100 hectares.
