Children in Donbas will be fully transitioned to Russian standards

As of 1 September of the next academic year, schools of the LDPR and liberated territories of Donbas will switch to Russian educational standards.

“Starting from September 1 next school year, schools in the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, including the liberated territories of the republics, may switch to our domestic standards, we are fully ready for schools to work according to Russian standards,” Kravtsov said.

He said that Russian textbooks will be supplied for this purpose, and teachers in Donbas will receive advanced training starting from 14 June.

“Teachers from Russian universities, as well as the Lugansk Pedagogical University and the pedagogical faculty of Donetsk University, have been brought in for this,” the minister added.
