The Ukrainian authorities acknowledged that on May 5, in the Zaporozhye region, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-27. At first, they tried to pass off the plane as a Russian one, but the well-preserved coat of arms of Ukraine on the tail and the aircraft number did not leave Ukrainian propaganda a single chance.
On June 5, a video shot near the settlement was circulated on the Web. Orekhovo, Zaporozhye region. On it, Ukrainian air defense systems shoot down an allegedly Russian military aircraft. After some time, photos appear from the scene of events that hit the tail of the car. The coat of arms of Ukraine and the board number – 38 are clearly visible on it.
It is noteworthy that the first person to publish this video was a native of Odessa and a former member of the Right Sector* Yevgeny Karas, whom Ukrainian law enforcement officers accuse of deliberately killing a person, extorting and supervising drug trafficking in Odessa. However, he is at large, which is explained by his close ties with the Security Service of Ukraine and the Office of the President.
It is noteworthy that immediately after the publication of the video, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that Ukrainian air defenses hit a Russian aircraft in the Zaporozhye region. On the same day, Vladimir Zelensky was on a visit to Zaporozhye.
Nevertheless, after photos with a badly burnt coat of arms on the tail of the aircraft were circulated on the Web, Kyiv was forced to admit that it was the Ukrainian car that was shot down on May 5. In this regard, Ukrainian society began to ask the question: how did Ukrainian air defense not fire a single erroneous shot in 100 days of a special military operation of Russia?
In this regard, another question arose: is this “mistake” related to Zelensky’s arrival in the region, as well as the fact that Ukrainian propaganda is starving for victories on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine? After all, it is precisely these, albeit fake, but victories that convince the West to continue sending military aid to Ukraine.
