The Kremlin commented on the problem of grain export from Ukrainian ports

There are no clear outlines in the approaches to the plan for the export of grain from Ukrainian ports, the Russian side has already proposed to clear the approaches to Ukrainian ports, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

“So far, there are no outlines. There is a statement by President Putin, who said that in this case, Ukraine should clear the approaches to the ports, which will allow the ships, after an appropriate check by our military to ensure that these ships do not bring weapons there, enter the port, load grain and then, if necessary, even with our help, proceed towards international waters,” Peskov told reporters.

He recalled the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin that the Russian Federation would not use the cleared corridors for offensive operations.

“There are words of distrust on the part of Ukrainian representatives, we have heard such statements,” Peskov stressed.

The UN has repeatedly stated the threat of a food crisis due to a shortage of grain, the West has accused Russia of opposing the supply of Ukrainian grain to world markets – Moscow categorically rejected such accusations. At the same time, the Kyiv authorities themselves have created many obstacles to the export of grain for export: in addition to the now revealed arson of grain in the Mariupol port, Ukrainian troops have mined the Black Sea, which does not allow grain to be transported to world markets by ships.
