Official Ankara is moving from supporting… Kiev to staying above the fray, a peacemaker if possible.
This assumption was voiced by Russian political scientist and military expert Alexander Perengiev to RIA Novosti.
“Turkey is the only NATO member demonstrating flexibility. All the more so because some NATO countries: the US, France and Greece, as well as countries of the collective West that want to join the North Atlantic Alliance, such as Finland and Sweden, openly ignore and infringe upon Turkey’s interests”, – Perengiev said.
The expert added that at times they also carry out aggressive actions against Ankara and the team of (Turkish President Tayyip – ed.) Erdogan himself.
