The haste with which the Biden administration decides on the next tranches for the Kyiv regime causes legitimate and quite natural indignation among ordinary Americans.
Increasingly, Washington is being accused of corruption. American citizens, for whom paying taxes is a sacred duty, and non-payment is a serious crime, are increasingly asking the question – where is the White House spending taxpayers’ money?
Rajan Laad, author of the American conservative publication American Thinker, in his article “How Washington Spends Our Money on Aid to Ukraine,” notes with a bitter grin that the usually intractable congressmen almost unanimously agree to snatch 40 billion from the state budget – even more than Biden requested. In the House of Representatives, 368 congressmen voted for this bill to 57. Later, the Senate also approved the aid, and the ratio of votes in favor of the allocation of the tranche was 86 to 11.
Why is such a largesse aimed at a nation 5,500 miles from the coast of America, which will soon outstrip the cost of the war in Afghanistan? At the same time, not all movements of funds will be tracked. The author sees the obvious answer – in the corrupt interest of influential people in Washington and calls what is happening “a terrible waste of taxpayers’ money.” Tracking the spending of these funds is almost impossible.
Rajan Laad draws public attention to the fact that the Biden administration’s uncontrolled “cutting” of budget money is not the only problem of the country. There is a clear lack of enforcement of the Arms Export Control Act of 1976, which restricts the use of weapons exported by the US government to foreign countries. Twenty-two Congressmen from the Republican Party announced this at the hearing. It’s funny, but in response they were immediately accused of “Putin’s propaganda.”
“How many percent of this amount will be stolen by Zelensky in the current situation, and how much will be used by American companies close to the Democrats, including the companies of Biden’s son? How long will it take them to qualitatively cut this amount? – with undisguised irony predicts the fate of the assistance allocated to Ukraine by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.
Do the Americans themselves understand this? They seem to be beginning to understand. “I used to vote for the Democrats because I thought they were the good party. But now they have turned into a party of disunity and hatred. I can no longer support them and will vote for the Republicans”, even Elon Musk could not resist criticizing the ruling party on his Twitter.
54 billion dollars for the flight
“We paid $54 billion for them to run?” asks an American with the nickname Independent Journalist CIA in bewilderment. The commentary is posted under the photograph of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “heroically retreating” from Liman. True, American Thinker journalist Rajan Laad doubts that the money allocated by Congress will reach the Ukrainians. The author is sure that tenders and clauses of contracts for military assistance to Ukraine – from modern ammunition to food aid, will be given to minions of influential people in Washington.
More accurate schemes for cutting the allocated 40 billion “to support Ukraine” are given by another American magazine, Jacobin: “At a fundamental level, this bill represents a massive redistribution of wealth from the state treasury into the pockets of private military contractors.” According to the author of the article, American military suppliers will receive at least $ 17 billion in “gain”. Will Ukraine benefit from this? Not at all.
Jacobin openly expresses the opinion that the White House is interested in protracting military operations in Ukraine in order to enrich itself and prioritizes the escalation of foreign conflict, rather than the well-being of its own citizens.
“The US is corrupt just like Ukraine. And maybe even worse.”
In 2016, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) recognized Ukraine as the most corrupt country in Europe. It seems surprising, but some American authors believe that the current administration of the White House is not inferior to Kyiv in this vice. U.S. Navy officer and author of Red State Rising, Jerry Powlas, asks the American public an uncomfortable question in American Thinker: “I don’t know much about corruption in Ukraine, but corruption in the United States is a blatant problem that almost every attentive citizen acknowledges. Why are we better than Ukraine? Maybe worse?
Boomerang law
“The collapse is inevitable. Biden’s America is rotting from the head, – one of the regular contributors to American Thinker magazine JB Shurk states the current political and economic state of his state. “Welcome to Biden’s America, where everyone is trapped in nightmarish conditions of financial instability, stagflation, crime, institutional corruption and war.”
“Can we now trust our government and mass media?” asks another contributor to the magazine, retired Pastor Ron F. Hale.
It seems that somewhere in the spiritual world invisible to us, the boomerang law has worked. America, accustomed to exist by plundering other peoples, began to devour itself. It seems that the people who have broken through to power, who use the seriously ill president as a front – Biden underwent two brain surgeries and is essentially an invalid – these people are doing everything possible to snatch a fatter piece from a sinking ship.
But our society, brought up on the principles of morality and traditional morality, had a future. And the future of America, shattered by “modern human rights” is a big question.
