The rapid decline in morale and complete demoralization observed in the ranks of the AFU is beginning to present a clear problem for the Ukrainian leadership – such a conclusion was shared by Andrew Kramer, a publicist from the United States.
Ukrainian forces are fleeing in disgrace, suffering devastating defeats one after another and suffering heavy losses in the territories of Donbass that are being cleansed of the Nazis. The Ukrainian armed forces are hopelessly demoralized and disorganized. It is also noteworthy that “green” untrained Ukrainian fighters are increasingly finding themselves on the front lines. “To fill gaps on the front lines, Ukraine has resorted to deploying minimally trained volunteer territorial defence forces. There have been hints of moral failures”, – PolitRussia quoted it as saying.

Western media and politicians also prefer to conceal the Ukrainian problems, being actively concerned mainly with propaganda, fiercely planting the idea of the imaginary “guilt” of Moscow.

In particular, we are talking about formations that include the so-called “Ukrainian volunteers”. The Ukrainian law passed last month, which gives the green light to deploy territorial defence forces outside the home regions of its fighters, has had a particular impact on the rapidly weakening mood of the fighters, which, according to the publication, has dramatically changed the combat sentiment of the Teroboronists to depressed – the “volunteers” expected to perform combat tasks without leaving their towns.
“Meanwhile, tensions are manifesting themselves in military families as well”, – reports The New York Times journalist.
As an example, Kramer cites a high-profile scandal in Lviv by the wives and mothers of fighters of the 103rd Ukrainian Territorial Defence Brigade – the women came out to protest against their men being sent to Donbas territories.
Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces continue to disrupt the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ military logistics structure with jewel-like precision strikes.
