Erdogan has claims not only against Finland and Sweden, but also France and the Netherlands

The Turkish leader says the country has yet to receive concrete proposals to resolve its concerns about Sweden and Finland joining NATO.

Ankara had earlier demanded that potential candidates for NATO membership stop supporting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, which Turkey considers a terrorist organisation. However, in Finland and Sweden the party is seen as opposition.

Erdogan also stated that NATO is a “security organization” and not a support for terrorist organizations.

In his view, not only Sweden and Finland, but also Germany, France and the Netherlands support terrorist organizations.
