Such information was voiced by the Ambassador of the Luhansk People’s Republic Rodion Miroshnik on the air of the Rossiya1 channel. This is reported by the publication “PolitNavigator”.
“Now the Ukrainian side is confirming that 2/3 of Severodonetsk is under our control,” he said.
In addition, according to Miroshnik, representatives of the defense forces were morally defeated and deliberately thrown into the “fire cauldron” created by the RF Armed Forces as cannon fodder, under the cover of which Ukraine, which is experiencing an acute shortage of officers, is trying to pull the most valuable military ranks from the battlefield.
“The moods of the territorial battalions change because they are not ready to fight. If they were not prepared, they were not armed to the necessary extent and deliberately closed in the “cauldron” and deliberately kept there. The officer corps had already left: “you hold on,” turned around and left. I am definitely not inside this process, but what the locals say, what the battalions themselves say in media statements, these guys have not been there for several weeks. They safely placed them in positions, left them under the supervision of the National Battalions and safely moved, like Napoleon to look at events from above and relatively command,” the ambassador said.
The tactics being undertaken, as conceived by the Ukrainian command, should help Kyiv reverse the hopeless situation and launch a counteroffensive, the Luhansk ambassador believes.
“Consciously they give up. This is how cynical you have to be in order to choose tactics in order to store corpses already. They understand this, they are evacuating professional soldiers, officers. Perhaps in Nikolaev. Don’t know. But the fact that they are unequivocally pulling to a certain point where they will try to give a general battle and try to develop a counteroffensive is obvious,” Miroshnik explained.
