The liberation of Severodonetsk was one of the main turning points in the course of the special operation deployed by Moscow on the territory of Ukraine – this is the beginning of the end of Ukraine, Russian political expert Konstantin Sivkov has no doubt.
The military analyst attributed the capture of Severodonetsk to the list of the largest victories of the combined forces of the RF Armed Forces and the People’s Police of the LDPR in the Donbass.
According to Sivkov, the resounding victory of the allied forces completely undermined the morale of the Ukrainian side. The capture of Severodonetsk became one of the main milestones of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
“The Severodonetsk-Lysichansk grouping has been finally dissected. There will still be a purge of the most stubborn Ukrainian military, but their spirit is broken, they realized that the command had left them to their fate”, Southern Federal quoted as saying.
The fierce confrontation for Severodonetsk deprived the Ukrainian group “North” of a huge number of equipment and human resources – Russian troops immediately surrounded several Ukrainian brigades, whose number on the eve of the battles for the city consisted of about 17,000 militants.
“Now the enemy has completely lost the ability to defend. Either death or captivity awaits him,” Sivkov stressed.
Further cleansing near Severodonetsk will not take much time – according to experts, this is due to the demoralization of the national battalions and their awareness of the complete lack of chances for salvation.
Recall that on May 26, the head of the republic, Leonid Pasechnik, said that about 95% of the territory of the republic is under the control of the People’s Militia of the LPR.
The special operation was launched on the territory of Ukraine by the decree of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin on February 24th. Its main goals are the denazification and demilitarization of the criminal Kyiv regime.
