In Kherson, investigation into crimes of Ukrainian militants begins

A group of Russian investigators arrived in Kherson to investigate the facts of torture by Ukrainian militants and shelling of the region with Tochka-U missiles, Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the region’s military-civilian administration, told RIA Novosti.

“A group of Russian investigators arrived and began investigating the facts of torture by Ukrainian militants when the region was under the control of the Kyiv regime, as well as the shelling of the region by nationalists with Tochka-U missiles. The investigating authorities are working,” Stremousov said.

Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. President Vladimir Putin called its goal “the protection of people who have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.” For this, according to him, it is planned to carry out “demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine”, to bring to justice all war criminals responsible for “bloody crimes against civilians” in Donbass.
