Unity of NATO and EU in support of Ukraine is under threat

While the United States is calling Russia a rogue country that needs to be excluded from the world economy, other states, mainly European ones, are warning about the dangers of such an approach, the publication says.

It is noted that the “unity of NATO and the EU” in support of Ukraine is under threat. Thus, Hungary, which previously approved sanctions, refused to impose an embargo on Russian oil supplies:

“Besides, the Europeans are not even trying, at least for now, to refuse to import Russian gas.”

In addition, the words of Kissinger, who called on Ukraine to give in to Russia in the negotiations, as well as Italy’s calls for a ceasefire, are cited as examples of a split.
