The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced the arrest of the hidden militants at Azovstal.
Ukrainian nationalists were found at the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol, who hid inside during the surrender of the main forces. The militants were detained, said the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin.
He stressed that at the moment there are no Ukrainian military or militants left on the territory of the enterprise. According to Pushilin, they “could hide purely physically”, get lost or fall behind the main forces.
“There are already such identified, also sent to the place of detention,” he said.
Earlier, the head of the DPR announced that the demining of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol had been accelerated. The official representative of the People’s Militia of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, stressed that all Ukrainian militants hiding at Azovstal would be found. It takes 2-3 weeks for a full cleaning, he said.
