The joint patrol of the Air Forces of China and Russia over the waters of the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea is aimed at increasing the level of cooperation between the armies of the two countries, the Chinese Ministry of Defense said.
“Such strategic patrols are organized to test and increase the level of interaction between the air forces of the two countries, to strengthen mutual trust and enhance pragmatic cooperation,” the statement emphasizes.
