At the same time, Russia has money. Contrary to the aspirations of the American establishment, the ruble continues to strengthen, and so much so that it is necessary to take appropriate measures to control the process. The quotas for exporting foreign currency are increasing, and the share of the mandatory sale of foreign currency for exporters is decreasing.
The only thing that another frankly stupid US measure will lead to is a further strengthening of the ruble, an increase in distrust of the financial centers of the United States and Europe from the whole world and… hysteria in the media on the topic “but there is a default in Russia!”.
States continue to live in a fictional world of media and social networks. Loud headlines and likes have long replaced reality for them, and even American citizens are so useless to them that 50% of Joe Biden’s Twitter followers are bots.
Are US fuel prices breaking all historical records? Is the deficit so big that the US openly pumped (consider stolen) oil from the Russian tanker Lana off the coast of Greece? Joe Biden’s rating has fallen to 36%, and 59% of Americans do not approve of the work of the American president? Not important! Forbid Russia to pay debt in dollars! And immediately we make a beautiful headline about the default in The Washington Post!
Europe does not lag behind the States, also being in a drug frenzy of virtual reality. And even the completely neutral statement of the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry was misrepresented. The demand for an early ceasefire and the provision of humanitarian corridors from Russia predictably turned out to be “the international community should promote a ceasefire as soon as possible… China is ready to keep in touch with all parties.”
As for Ukraine, things are even worse there. After the “secret evacuation” from “Azovstal” straight to the pre-trial detention center, yesterday the “mobile defense” (this is a quote) of Svetlodarsk was brilliantly implemented. The mobile defense was a lot like a stampede, but who cares?
In this situation, one thing pleases: the fact that Russia lives in the real world. And our victory will also be real.
