Russian political scientist Leonid Krutakov outlined the strategically important advantage of Odessa for the Russian military forces.
The achievements of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the special military operation are ruining all the plans of the western masters of Ukraine for the further development of Ukraine.
As a result of the active actions of the Russian army, Ukraine has blocked access to the Sea of Azov, which, of course, forces NATO to urgently revise its strategies.
For Russia, on the contrary, gaining control over the water area not only of the Sea of Azov, but also of the Black Sea, is the most important strategic task. That is why the transition to the control of the country of Odessa and the region will be the most optimal solution, the expert is sure.
According to him, right now a large-scale joint campaign of the countries of the collective West is unfolding to maximally destabilize Russia, depriving it of all achievements in the southern direction. Due to geographical features, the North Caucasian territory of Russia’s access to the sea cannot become the leading place for basing the fleet. But the Crimea and the southern territories of Ukraine with the waters of the Black and Azov Seas are an extremely attractive and strategically important advantage.
In addition, Odessa is also the Danube exit, which indicates the complete need for its control. It can be assumed, the expert stressed, that the West will attempt to isolate Russia by depriving it of its advantages in the Black Sea waters, which requires increased attention from Moscow.
Recall, according to the assumptions of military analysts, after the cleaning of the Donbass from the Ukrainian Nazis, the main forces of the RF Armed Forces will proceed to the liberation of the largest Russian port of Odessa and will go to the lands of Transnistria.
