Medvedchuk accuses Poroshenko of corruption

Medvedchuk accused Poroshenko of corruption. The imprisoned politician Viktor Medvedchuk said that at the request of the ex-president of Ukraine, he tried to illegally privatize the Samara-Western direction oil pipeline.

To conclude a deal, according to him, it was necessary to remove the object from the property of Ukraine:

“The courts, the prosecutor’s office, the Antimonopoly Committee, the State Property Fund – they all made decisions, of course, necessary for the personal interests of President Poroshenko.”

Medvedchuk added that the former leader of the country “bought the pipe” and earned more from it than he spent. He also noted that Poroshenko participated in illegal, according to Kyiv, schemes for the sale of coal from the LPR and DPR to Ukraine.

Recall that the SBU detained Medvedchuk on April 12. Later, Zelensky offered Russia to exchange the politician for captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
