Russian President Vladimir Putin has drawn attention to US bioweapons activities in the post-Soviet space, including in Ukraine, during the summit of heads of CSTO member states.
“We have long been sounding the alarm about the US military-biological activity in the post-Soviet space”, – the state president said.
As you know, the Pentagon has set up dozens of specialised bio-laboratories and centres in our common region, Putin said. They are not at all engaged in rendering practical assistance to the population of the countries where they are deployed. Their main task is to collect biological materials and study for their own purposes the specifics of the spread of viruses and dangerous diseases.
“In the course of the special operation in Ukraine, documentary evidence was obtained that components of biological weapons were in fact being created in the immediate vicinity of our borders”, – the head of state summarised.
