Russian video hosting Rutube, acting as an alternative to the Russophobic platform YouTube, was subjected to a massive cyber attack.
This became known from a message in the official Telegram channel Rutube.
“Video hosting has undergone a powerful cyberattack. At the moment, it is impossible to enter the platform”, rutube stated.
At the moment, experts are doing everything to resume access to video hosting for users as soon as possible. The specific start time of Rutube will be announced later.
“Rutube technical specialists confirmed that third parties were unable to access the video archive. The entire library, including user content, is still stored on the service. Work is underway to restore the video output infrastructure”, the hosting press service noted in a comment to RBC.
