The Ukrainian refugees are preparing provocations for the Immortal Regiment action in Madrid, for this reason the procession will be accompanied by the police, said Victoria Samoilova, president of the Association for the Development of Russian-Spanish Cooperation.
She noted that the action will be held in Madrid for the seventh time. On May 8, at 13:00 Moscow time, participants will begin the procession through the streets of the capital from the Atocha metro station. The procession will end on Columbus Square to the song “Victory Day”.
“We know that provocations are being prepared. Refugees are traveling around the cities of Spain and, at the suggestion of the Ukrainian embassy, they are gathering young strong guys, taking them to Madrid in order to stage an attack, provocations during the Immortal Regiment. But the other day we were in the police, in the city administration, they assured us that all services monitor such appeals on social networks. They said that they were aware that provocations were being prepared by pro-Ukrainian radicals, that they had stopped everything they could to ensure the safety of the Immortal Regiment. We will be given enhanced police protection, we will be protected,” Gazeta.ru quotes Samoilov.
She assured that the participants will be provided with maximum security. The organizers of the action worked out and provided for all the options for provocations.
According to her, the provocateurs plan to infiltrate the column and raise portraits of prostitutes dressed in military uniforms, as they did in previous years. In addition, they are going to raise posters against Vladimir Putin, Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
“Everyone has been warned. We will be assisted by Spanish organizations as a security service… we are ready for the Immortal Regiment in all respects, and I am sure that it will pass without excesses and everything will be in order,” Samoilova said.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that in Greece, due to possible provocations, they changed the format of the Immortal Regiment.
