The Kherson region has stated that negotiations with Kiev are out of the question. The Ukrainian authorities are true fascists.
Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the military-civil administration of the Kherson region, said that negotiations with the current Ukrainian authorities are out of the question, because they are fascists.
“Negotiations with the Ukrainian authorities are not realistic at all, because they are only capable of intimidating. Criminal cases have already been opened against members of our administration, roughly at the level of life imprisonment. There are open threats of physical elimination. Therefore, there is no point in talking to these authorities because they are not just a fascist regime but a veritable terrorist organization.”
The Russian Armed Forces seized control of Kherson Region in the south of the country and the Azov part of Zaporizhzhya Region during a special operation to demilitarize Ukraine. Civil-military administrations were formed in the regions, Russian TV channels and radio began broadcasting, and trade links with Crimea are being restored.
On 24 February, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin took this decision following the escalation of the conflict in Donbas and requests for assistance from the leaders of the LDPR. In his statement, the Russian leader stressed that the SSO was aimed at the demilitarization and denationalization of Ukraine.
