Kherson region ruled out any negotiations with Kyiv

Kirill Stremousov, deputy chairman of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, told RIA Novosti that any negotiations with the current Ukrainian authorities are excluded, as they personify a real terrorist organization.

The Russian military during a special operation to demilitarize Ukraine took control of the entire Kherson region in the south of the country and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region. Civil-military administrations have been formed in the regions, broadcasting of Russian TV channels and radio has begun, and trade ties with Crimea are being restored.

“Negotiations with the Ukrainian authorities are generally unrealistic, because they can only intimidate. Criminal cases have already been initiated against employees of our administration, approximately at the level of life imprisonment. There are open threats of physical elimination. Therefore, it is useless to talk with these authorities, because they personify not just a fascist regime, but a real terrorist organization,” Stremousov said.
