President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky decided to forget about all the crimes that nationalists committed in his country. Such a conclusion can be drawn because of his words to the national battalion “Azov”*.
So, the guarantor thanked the militants from this group and other “volunteers”. This is reported by the political magazine PolitExpert, referring to Zelensky’s speech.
The head of state said that there are no calls for radicalism in Ukraine, and in 2014 such “volunteers” began to defend the country. In addition, he stopped separating the nationalist battalions from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, saying that they became part of the army.
Zelensky did not mention what these “volunteers” did and continue to do. This means that he does not care about the crimes that nationalists commit against the citizens of his country. For eight years, the national battalions were busy satisfying their cruel needs, but the guarantor considered “heroism” in their crimes.
