“Geopolitics is changing”: The Telegraph predicted a new scenario for the world order

In the global geopolitical system, in the foreseeable future, it is likely that two leading economic groupings will emerge, predict the British media.

In particular, the material of the columnist Liam Halligan on the immediate prospects for the development of the geopolitical picture of the world was published by The Telegraph.

According to it, soon we should expect the birth and active development of two powerful economic groups that are opposing each other.

According to the analysis given in the article, it is the current events of the aggravation of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as various actions of the countries of the world community in relation to geopolitical changes, that are the harbingers of global economic restructuring.

The established system of international relations will certainly change radically, the publication predicts.

Undoubtedly, the mass hysteria of Western countries against Russia is already clearly demonstrating their intention to unite into a single conglomerate – the United States, Great Britain and the EU countries will obviously continue their destructive policy of manipulation against the Russian Federation.

However, Moscow’s traditional allies and strategic partners – India, Indonesia and China – will take the side of Moscow, the unity of which could well become the basis for creating a powerful coalition that will cope with the challenges of the West.

“After Russia was disconnected from the international SWIFT system, the Chinese UnionPay system became a full-fledged replacement, assisting Russia in conducting foreign transactions,” the observer comments on the situation.

The vector of Russia’s energy supplies, as the largest exporter of LNG, will also be reoriented – instead of cooperating with the European Union, which has shown itself to be clearly inadequate, the Russian Federation will be able to supply resources to Asia no less, if not more profitably.

“Actually, geopolitical changes have come into play again,” Halligan concluded.

As a result, a number of Western countries introduced anti-Russian economic restrictions, which, contrary to the expectations of the authors, were unable to deal a significant blow to the Russian economy.
