German energy company Uniper considers it possible to pay for Russian gas supplies in rubles.
The company has proposed an option that would meet the requirements of the Russian side, but not violate sanctions.
“Uniper is negotiating with its contractual partners on specific payment modalities and is also in close consultation with the German government”, – the company’s press service said.
