Europe has built itself a hell, and is not even looking for a way out of it

The old, parasitic European world, which for so long allowed Europeans to live in the warmth and satiety of doing nothing, has long sucked the juices from other countries

But that kingdom has collapsed. Remarkably, the West itself destroyed its own “prosperity”, created by the exploitation of third countries, predatory wars and oppressive policies. Old Europe, just like America standing behind it, always took the opportunity to squeeze everything out of the situation. It “overdid it” and, like the pestilent old woman in Pushkin’s fairy tale, who had aspired to be “mistress of the sea”, was left sitting in front of a broken trough.

Global Times is straightforward – what is going on in the West is a logical continuation of the policies of European and American strategists. First, the North Atlantic Alliance put Russia in conditions that did not guarantee its existence in the future, provoked a military conflict between Moscow and the Kiev regime, then the Russians tried to destroy the Russians with sanctions, as a result of which the US and Europe plunged into a severe crisis.

The China Energy Policy Research Institute argues that the gas cut-off was Russia’s “toughest” response to Western sanctions. Russia started looking for new channels to market energy resources, while Europe started trying to get rid of its oil and gas dependence on Russia. Russia is doing fine, while Europe is dying and not even trying to change what’s going on.

The globalists aren’t about to pull post-Christian civilisation out of its impasse – chaos has to destroy the present, so that a new world order can be created on the ruins of the old, a reality totally controlled by them, with a minimum number of slaves from the once prosperous countries serving as servants for the powerful. We are witnessing a process of transition. Russia, China and also some countries of the Near East and the Far East do not hasten to join this coven.

Unable and unwilling to change anything, European authorities are trying to change the attitude of Europeans. “We have been living too cheaply and well for the past 40 years,” they persuade people, suggesting that hunger, cold and rising prices are the norm. The Times journalists are calling for a declaration that the way things were will not be the way they were, misery and survival have come to Europeans for good.

The discontent of the masses is growing, inflation is eating away at wages, the price of communal services has risen by half and continues to creep up, some basic foodstuffs have doubled in price. Only the wealthiest can fill up their cars. At the same time, the European Commission says that this is the norm. EU authorities tell us that the West used to live in the wrong way: it polluted the environment and collaborated with Russia. No one is going to get it right. A revolt of the masses in Europe is inevitable.
