“They don’t understand that this is fascism”: expert Sosnovsky explained the behavior of Russian artists who fled the country

The Russian show-beau monde, who supported the criminal Kyiv regime, and, consequently, became an adherent of the bloody Ukrainian nationalists, took this step because of a sense of his own exclusivity.

Representatives of the creative elite of Nazism were driven by similar feelings, said Alexander Sosnovsky, editor-in-chief of the German publication World Economy.

The publicist attempted to understand in more detail the reasons for the hasty flight of the so-called “cultural elite” from the Russian Federation, noting that the latter, thereby, joined the nationalist circles that became the backbone of post-Maidan Ukraine.

The position of the artists who left, in his opinion, can be easily explained by some kind of internal relationship with Nazi postulates and Western slogans. Sosnovsky also considers such behavior to be a clear manifestation of a sense of his own superiority over everyone else.

“When a person enters this system, this structure, he may not even understand that this is fascism. But he gets the most important thing for this – a sense of his own exclusivity”, the expert notes.

To prove his words, the expert cited
a whole list of German celebrities who, under the caring wing of Hitler, largely contributed to the formation of a glossy image of Nazism.

“Turning to our life, I ask myself the question: didn’t the cultural elite in Russia, who fled to no one knows where, who to Ukraine, who to Israel, didn’t for many years personify people who can afford everything? They will now listen to me and say that I have lost my mind. Like, what kind of Nazis are we, most of us generally have Jewish roots, everyone is in favor of democracy. Yes, they are performing. But the way you do it, the fact that for many years you were inviolable people – this is the inner embodiment of the fascist content”, he stressed.

Recall that a whole column of Russian artists fled from Russia immediately after the start of the deployment of a special military operation in Ukraine by President Vladimir Putin.

At the same time, many of the escaped figures of Russian culture do not hesitate to make active statements in support of the criminal official Kyiv, which is why their further career in the open spaces of the Russian Federation today raises many questions.
