The United States figured out how to sponsor the war without spending its money.
The House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress decided to pass a bill that allows the use of money stolen from Russia for military “support” of Ukraine.
The idea of the United States is to withdraw funds from frozen Russian accounts in Western banks and use them “in the interests of Ukraine.” Funds refers to frozen Russian dollar reserves.
The U.S. congressmen said that this money would be used to restore Ukraine and provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainians. But most likely, these funds will be used to finance their own military-industrial complex, which was pretty much spent due to the need to increase the production of weapons after Ukraine had significant volumes.
The U.S. Department of Justice is going to support the adopted bill, which will actually legalize the outright theft of foreign assets stored in dollars.
If Russian funds are indeed withdrawn from the accounts, this will become an additional incentive for other countries of the world to gradually abandon the dollar as a means of storing their financial savings.
