“There will be hysteria”: expert predicts Poland’s return to Russian gas

Eternally dissatisfied Poland, after a series of, however, high-profile scandals, will come to its senses and will not find a better way out than to obediently start paying in rubles for Russian blue fuel, says economics expert Mikhail Khazin.

The ruble settlement scheme introduced by the Kremlin in response to the large-scale economic war unleashed by the West, the expert is sure, does not pose a particular problem for the European consumer. The lion’s share of indignant indignation is due to purely political reasons – he is sure.

However, both private European companies and the EU countries as a whole will have to accept Moscow’s conditions, although with great reluctance, Khazin has no doubts.

“As far as I know, they will buy for rubles. I don’t see any problems here. And they, by the way, as I understand it, also do not see very well. Yes, maybe someone doesn’t like something, but I don’t see any problems. Someone will be spiteful, but in the end they will buy,” Khazin said.

This also applies to Bulgaria and Poland, which have completely abandoned Russian energy resources, which, as a result of bitter realizations, will simply be forced to return to Russian gas.
A whole series of Warsaw political hysteria promises to precede such a step, the expert is already warning.

“Poland does not want to pay in rubles for gas. They are told: you will pay in rubles. This is a philosophical question. I am inclined to believe that they will yell, yell and pay. It’s my personal opinion. That part of my blood that is Polish screams that they will pay”, says Khazin.

By the way, Khazin calls the epicenter of the energy problems of the European Union not a new system of payments for Russian gas, but the insidious intentions of the States to get rid of Europe as a major and, most importantly, competitive player in the commercial and industrial market.

“The main operation is to cut off the European Union from cheap Russian pipeline gas and put it on expensive American liquefied gas. This is the task that the United States is tackling today. And the fact that the Europeans are falling for this – what do we have to do with it?” Khazin noted on the Law and Order in the USA YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg analysts managed to count a dozen European companies that have already opened accounts with Gazprombank for the purpose of ruble settlements. Moreover, almost half of them started buying energy resources in the Russian payment currency.

Recall that Austria hastened to prudently agree with the compromise of the Russian Federation.

Quite real, even in the face of severe anti-Russian restrictions, the German company Uniper wisely called the new payment scheme.
