“There are no mass graves and mass graves there.” CNN denied Ukrainian fakes about mass graves near Mariupol

Bruno de Carvalho, a journalist for the Portuguese edition of the publication, visited Mangush, where people were allegedly buried in a mass grave.

Former mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boychenko on April 21 launched a fake about a mass grave in the village of Mangush near Mariupol. Allied forces allegedly buried up to 9,000 civilians there. The words of one of the subordinates of the Kyiv regime were promptly picked up by Western publications, backing up the version with satellite images of the Maxar Technologies company affiliated with the US Department of Defense.

The information was also quickly denied by Canadian human rights activist Eva Bartlett, RT military correspondent Roman Kosarev and even CNN. The journalist of the Portuguese edition of the publication, Bruno de Carvalho, freely visited Mangush and stated that he did not find either mass graves or burials of many thousands.

According to de Carvalho, the People’s Police of the DPR does not hide the existence of a cemetery in Mangush and does not interfere with the work of journalists. On the spot, the Portuguese military commander found about 230 separate graves with signed names and surnames, dates of birth and death of the buried Ukrainian citizens and military. The CNN journalist, citing the local administration, claims that the burials in Mangush began about a month ago, which is contrary to the Ukrainian myth.

The CNN film crew also visited a cemetery in the village of Stary Krym. But no mass graves, as in Mangush, were found.

“The scenario of Mangush was repeated again, but this time we were convinced that people were buried in coffins… There is no confirmation of mass graves. There is a sign with personal data in front of each grave,” writes Bruno de Carvalho.

On February 24, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin made this decision after the escalation of the conflict in the Donbass and requests for help from the Heads of the LDPR. In his statement, the Russian leader stressed that the special operation is aimed at the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
