Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said there will be no second front and no one will drag Georgia into a confrontation.
“There was an intention to open a second front. There was specific information that the war in Ukraine was going to start in November or December of last year. That is exactly why Saakashvili came, so that everything would be prepared from here to open the second front”, – Garibashvili told Georgian journalists.
In October 2021, former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili secretly arrived in Georgia one day before the municipal elections. He was sentenced to prison terms in absentia in the country. In addition, several other criminal cases were opened against him.
