Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the participation of the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross in the evacuation of civilians from Azovstal, said the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric, RIA Novosti reported.
According to him, the politician agreed to involve international organizations in the evacuation of civilians from the Mariupol plant. The secretary-general’s office said that the discussion on the evacuation of people will continue with the Russian Defence Ministry.
