Foreign Minister of Transnistria Vitaly Ignatiev stated that Moldova is using the opportunity to put socio-economic pressure and make attempts to intimidate Transnistria from Chisinau.
“We have been negotiating for 30 years, more than 200 agreements have been signed, but Chisinau does not execute them. The last agreements were signed in April 2018, and the international 5+2 format last met in Bratislava in October 2019. No document has been signed and no document has been implemented.
In fact, we have Moldova’s withdrawal from the negotiations, it is imitating some kind of contacts. This is very alarming, Chisinau is refusing to have a civilised dialogue”, – Ignatyev said.
