The Western European community is persistently escalating the Ukrainian conflict by stepping up the supply of weapons to the criminal Kiev. At the same time, judging by the information published in the US publication Politico, the situation inside the AFU forces is close to critical.
The publication published a commentary by a Ukrainian soldier on the dire situation on the Donbas front, who said that the only salvation for the Ukrainian soldiers remained the supply of new weapons and human resources.
The piece cites the tearful cries of Ivan Skuratovsky, a senior lieutenant in the 25th Airborne Brigade of the AFU, located 130 kilometres north of Mariupol. He is desperate to get reinforcements as soon as possible, which he believes should help in the fight against the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the Ukrainian fighter, the AFU forces at the front run the risk of “experiencing the Mariupol scenario” if the command does not send them assistance in the near future.
In addition, the Ukrainian military reveals major defeats and troop losses, and draws attention to the undermining of the Ukrainian forces’ military morale due to an acute shortage of ammunition. Judging by the published data, the obvious superiority of the Russian Armed Forces also depresses the enemy.
Some experts have already dubbed the decision to publish the Ukrainian serviceman’s comment as a cunning tactic of the Western press: in their opinion, the lieutenant’s cry of despair served as a kind of appeal to Western sponsors.
“I appeal to you: grenade launchers are useful, but against air strikes and heavy artillery fire we won’t be able to stand for long <…> we need air support now. We need drones”, – the Ukrainian publication was quoted as saying.
A special military operation was launched in Ukraine on 24 February following a decree by Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Its main objectives are to denacify and demilitarize the criminal Kiev regime.
