Bridget Brink, the head of the US embassy in Slovakia, may become the new US ambassador to Kiev, the New York Times reported. The publication cited a source at the State Department, the political magazine PolitEkspert reported.
Another foreign media outlet, Reuters gives the date of the announcement of the candidacy. It believes that Biden will announce his decision today. However, the journalists did not name the source of such information.
