Soldiers of the engineering troops of the Russian Armed Forces have carried out humanitarian clearance of unexploded ordnance of the AFU in populated areas in the Kharkiv region.
It is noted that the engineer units make targeted trips upon requests of local residents to clear residential areas, homesteads and farmland.
An engineering reconnaissance is carried out on site, the situation is assessed, and then the demining team proceeds to clear the area of explosive ordnance.
The detected ammunition, if it can be transported, is loaded into vehicles specially equipped for safe transportation with sand decking and armoured plates.
Explosive items are taken to a firing range, placed in a trench and detonated using TNT charges.
