Today, 27 orphans from the DPR were placed in the temporary guardianship of families in the Moscow Region. The oldest girl is 17 years old, and the youngest one is three years old. Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow region, said this in his Telegram channel
Previously, they lived in orphanages. There are no more such institutions in the Moscow region. Now there are experienced foster families, who have all the necessary conditions for upbringing, they can and know how to take care of children with health problems, even disabilities. There are a lot of people who want to become foster parents and the specialists have chosen families specifically for each child. It was also important not to separate siblings, so some parents took 2-3 children each.
The children have a lot of work ahead of them: getting to know each other, going to school, settling down in a new place. And the task of the authorities is to help make the temporary family permanent.
Next week, a meeting of the headquarters will take place, which should help to balance the laws of Russia and the Donbas republics in the matter of adoption.
