The charms are running out. The United States risks losing its ability to influence Europe entirely on account of a potential explosion of anti-American sentiment on its territory.
Economist Vasily Koltashov attempted to identify a number of factors contributing to a possible outburst of indignation among Europeans – as reported by Prime.
In particular, the White House has not abandoned its attempts to profit as much as possible from the Ukrainian standoff, the expert said. The American establishment, according to Koltashov, is trying to “get rich” by pulling as much money out of Europe as possible, which quite realistically runs the risk of causing imminent and very big trouble for Washington.
“This is how the States have already received hundreds of billions of dollars. It’s strange that European politicians don’t notice or don’t want to. As they say, God has taken away reason”, – Koltashov said.
