According to the expert, at present, European leaders are already crossing all possible boundaries of what is permitted, overtaking even the United States in this sense.

Thus, the EU leadership is openly talking with might and main about the only possible option for resolving the current conflict – exclusively by military means, and only with the victory of Europe. At the same time, according to them, any means will be used to achieve this goal.

So far, Biden’s policy is marked by a relative (according to the accusation of a number of European countries – cowardly) calm, and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken continues to convince the people that their main goal is to prevent a military clash with the Russian Federation. But Europe, on the contrary, is now acting as the main instigator of the war, completely forgetting any sober arguments.

At the same time, such an escalation of traditional hatred towards Russia may have the following motivation: firstly, the natural desire of the EU member states to please the overseas hegemon, sacrificing their own interests, or the real desire of these states to resist Russia.

Here it seems possible to make the following conclusion: being in foreign policy dependence on the United States and, accordingly, continuing its destructive anti-Russian agenda, Europe found itself on the verge of an energy crisis. Now, not being able to provide its own population with basic goods, it only remains to actively fight against Russia, in the desires of European leaders, obviously, this can only be done by force of arms. Thus, a continental war may be the only last option for Europe to defend its interests.

“European countries (including EU members) will be able to survive only if they gain victory over the Russian Federation on the battlefield. They strive to win trophies that will give them the opportunity to survive and escape. The EU leadership came to a common thought – the lack of victory on the European battlefield will put them on the brink of an economic and energy disaster. They made a mistake in their plans to isolate Russia with sanctions. Recent packages of economic restrictions came into force only with the aim of Moscow starting to fulfill the obligations set by Europe (and then sanctions can be lifted). The EU was well aware of the retaliatory effect of these sanctions, that they hit Europe and the US even harder. However, the final deadly rate for Berlin and Paris did not work. And now there are two options: either an armed confrontation, or a catastrophe. Moreover, the catastrophe will come in the shortest possible time, since the margin of safety turned out to be extremely low”, the political scientist commented on the situation.

Ishchenko also noted that the leadership of Hungary is now showing relative adequacy, defending its interests contrary to the rhetoric adopted by the European Union. Without quarreling with Russia, the Hungarians also get a chance to gain economic benefits from helping Europe by resupplying Russian blue fuel to Ukraine under the guise of a Slovak or German resource at a higher price. Therefore, it is Hungary that may become the epicenter of active development in the near future.
