Special forces of the armies of Russia and the DPR launched an assault on the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol, where the remnants of the Ukrainian national battalion Azov continue to hide. This was stated by the official representative of DPR People’s Police Eduard Basurin.
He added that Russian aviation and artillery help a lot in this. Basurin also said that the statements of the Ukrainian side about the presence of civilians at the plant is a fake.
Earlier, the governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the shelling was carried out from the Ukrainian side of the village of Golovchino, Graivoronsky district.
“There is destruction. A local resident was injured. She is now receiving all the necessary medical care,” said the governor of the region.
