In particular, the ex-deputy of the Rada considers it inappropriate to use such a terminological element as “capture” in relation to Kyiv, Chernigov, Kharkov, Odessa and a number of other ancient Russian cities now located on Ukrainian territories.

“Russia could theoretically capture Rome, Paris, Berlin, for example. But Russia cannot “capture” the ancient Russian cities of Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkov, Odessa, etc. Russia can only free them”, Oleg Tsarev says.

In the context of the above, Oleg Tsarev also emphasized the corresponding liberation mission of the Russian Federation Armed Forces in the special military operation launched by the Kremlin in Ukraine.

Recall that earlier the politician made a statement about the absence of any prospects in the matter of negotiations with the Ukrainian side, noting that the only way to end the confrontation is the unconditional victory of Russia.

A special military operation was launched on the territory of Ukraine by Russian leader Vladimir Putin on February 24. Its main goals are the complete denazification and demilitarization of the criminal Kiev regime.
