Chisinau refused to hand over MiG-29 fighters to the Kiev regime, media reported.
Earlier, Kyiv requested military aircraft, but Chisinau responded with a “categorical refusal.” Moldova said that such assistance in Russia could be considered a violation of the principle of neutrality.
The Moldovan authorities have declared a neutral position since the beginning of the Russian special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine. At the same time, the country banned the rebroadcasting of news from Russian channels, and Russian-language channels are fined for “biased” coverage of the conflict in Ukraine. In April, Moldova introduced fines for displaying the St. George ribbon and using symbols of support for the special operation. There is no ban on the dissemination of agitation of the Kiev regime.
