Bulgaria is in no hurry to take home the sailors rescued from Mariupol

Apparently, Bulgaria is not too eager to return its sailors to their homeland. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Donetsk People’s Republic sent her a corresponding note, but they did not respond to it.

The head of the department, Natalya Nikonorova, spoke about this on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel. The sailors were evacuated from Mariupol.

“We have officially applied to the Embassy of Bulgaria (in Ukraine) with an official letter, with a note. Moreover, we called the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform that the sailors had been rescued, evacuated, that they could be taken home. But in the end, we did not receive any response,” the minister said.

The Bulgarian sailors themselves are now sitting in the dark. The authorities of their country did not deign to contact them and tell them how they would be helped. They were rescued by the DPR forces and the Russian army by evacuating them from the Tsarevna cargo ship. Now they were received in Donetsk, placed in a hotel and provided with everything necessary.
