Lithuanian Defence Ministry teaches AFU to operate drones

The Baltic States continue to take indirect part in the hostilities in Ukraine. This time the Lithuanian military had a hand in it

The Ministry of Defence of the republic is conducting training for fighters of the Armed Forces. This was reported by the Izvestia newspaper, referring to the defence ministry. The Lithuanian military is training their Ukrainian colleagues to operate unmanned aerial vehicles.

“Two companies’ drones have now been delivered to Ukraine, which serve as reconnaissance tools for both company and brigade units”, –  the report said.

Lithuania has spent more than 200 million euros on aid to Ukraine. It transferred to Kiev weapons, various equipment, food, ammunition, various anti-tank weapons and even Stinger air defence systems.
